All of the 4 zones provide unique landscapes to photograph Asia’s two iconic giants. Each elephant and rhino safari is accompanied by our expert naturalists who use their knowledge of daily animal movement patterns to track and spot wildlife.
Kaziranga National Park is one of the world’s finest destinations for a one horned rhino photography tour. The park holds two-thirds of the world’s entire Greater One-Horned Rhino population, the largest single concentration of Wild Water Buffalo in India, and some of the most photographically accessible Asian Elephant herds. It was declared a National Park in 1974 and a Tiger Reserve in 2006, and was later declared an Elephant Reserve also. It is one of very few places in India with all three designations.
What makes a Kaziranga elephant and rhino photography safari truly spectacular is the park’s unique landscape. The annual Brahmaputra floods create a mosaic of short-grass meadows, oxbow lakes (beels), reed beds, riverine forest and semi-evergreen woodland that produces consistent, controllable backgrounds for wildlife photography.
