Destinations & Photographic Landscapes
Sultanpur National Park & Okhla Bird Sanctuary
Your tiger and bird photographic safari begins with two rewarding wetland birding sessions around Delhi. Sultanpur National Park and Okhla Bird Sanctuary provide excellent opportunities for birdwatching in India, allowing photographers to capture resident and migratory species before entering the forests of Jim Corbett. Open wetlands, reed beds and woodland edges create ideal conditions for flight photography, environmental compositions and close portraits.
Expect species such as Marsh Harrier, Indian Spotted Eagle, Osprey, Painted Stork, Grey-headed Swamphen, Northern Pintail, Bar-headed Goose, Yellow-bellied Prinia and Striated Babbler. Together, these two sanctuaries record over 400 bird species, making them an excellent introduction to one of the finest bird photography tours India has to offer.
Jim Corbett National Park
Jim Corbett National Park is one of the most iconic destinations for Bengal tiger photography and forms the heart of this tiger and bird photographic safari. Staying inside a Forest Rest House allows photographers to immerse themselves in the wilderness from sunrise to sunset while reducing travel time to safari gates. This unique experience offers peaceful surroundings, early access to wildlife activity and more time in the field.
Across six exclusive jeep safaris, you’ll photograph tigers, Asian elephants, otters, crocodiles, deer, hornbills, owls, kingfishers and numerous raptors. The park’s rivers, grasslands and sal forests provide constantly changing backdrops, making Corbett one of the finest destinations for tiger reserve photography, jungle photography tours and DSLR wildlife photography tours led by experienced wildlife photography guides.
Chambal River, Dholpur
The Chambal River offers a completely different perspective from traditional forest safaris and is one of the finest river-based locations for a wildlife photography safari. Photographing from a private boat places you at eye level with wildlife, creating clean compositions and uninterrupted backgrounds that are difficult to achieve elsewhere.
Indian Skimmers, Bar-headed Geese, Ruddy Shelducks, Sarus Cranes, Egyptian Vultures, Laggar Falcons and Pallas’s Fish Eagles are regularly encountered, while gharials, mugger crocodiles, Bengal Monitor Lizards and freshwater turtles provide exceptional reptile photography. This river expedition perfectly complements the forest safaris, making it an unforgettable tiger and bird watching tour.
Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur
Keoladeo National Park is recognised as one of Asia’s greatest bird photography destinations and is an essential stop on this India wildlife photography tour. Exploring the park by cycle rickshaw allows photographers to move quietly between habitats, spend more time with individual subjects and position themselves perfectly for changing light conditions.
Winter transforms Bharatpur into a paradise for migratory birds in India, with thousands of waterbirds arriving from Central Asia and beyond. Painted Storks, Spoonbills, Sarus Cranes, cormorants, night herons, ducks and numerous rare bird species India is known for can all be photographed at remarkably close range. The park’s compact layout allows repeated visits to productive locations, making it one of the country’s premier bird photography holidays.

We traveled from Canada to India to celebrate a special event, and Jungle Revives turned it into an unforgettable journey. The team guided us in selecting the perfect reserve and coordinated all transfers effortlessly. The safari itself was amazing - we spotted tigers multiple times. Our guides were experienced and made each drive engaging and exciting. One of the most memorable moments was a stunning birthday dinner set up under the stars, adding a truly special touch to the trip. I highly recommend Jungle Revives!
I am from South Korea, and our group of six booked a safari tour with Jungle Revives. Initially we were unsure — being in a new country with a new operator can feel challenging. But this turned out to be our most memorable and beautifully planned trip to date. Every communication and daily schedule was perfectly coordinated. Mr. Shishir called us every evening to check how our day went — that level of personal attention truly made us feel valued. The accommodations were luxurious and far beyond what we expected.
For personal reasons, we unfortunately could not travel with Shishir, but I can only recommend the planning process to everyone. He is incredibly professional, responds promptly, and patiently addresses all requests and questions. This way, individual needs and ideas can be implemented.
My 10-day safari covering 4 national parks was very well planned and organised by Jungle Revives. I was worried we might not see any tigers, but we had multiple sightings — especially in Jim Corbett and Kanha. The naturalists were experienced, all stays comfortable and the entire trip went smoothly. Special thanks to Shishir for always being available with prompt responses to every query throughout the trip.
After nearly a year of planning, I finally experienced the safari I had been dreaming about — and it was absolutely worth the wait. Mr. Shishir and his team made the entire journey feel effortless. Across Jim Corbett and Bandhavgarh, our group of five spotted 8 tigers along with incredible wildlife and birds. The guides were knowledgeable, respectful toward wildlife and passionate about conservation. Nothing felt rushed — it felt raw, real and deeply connected to nature.
After planning this trip for quite some time, we finally moved forward with Jungle Revives — and it turned out to be a wonderful decision. Communication was professional, every detail thoughtfully arranged, and small touches like blankets, hot water bags and bird identification books in the jeep made every drive genuinely special. We saw tigers, playful cubs, elephants and a stunning variety of wildlife. A dependable safari company that values communication and attention to detail.
